Installing Lua Apps

After downloading the Zip file, extract its contents and copy them to the “Apps” folder on the Jeti transmitter.

Typically, this includes a script file with the extension .lc and a folder containing a .jsn file and other auxiliary files.

Finally, the executable .lc file and the folder must be placed directly inside the “Apps” folder on the Jeti transmitter. The folder should not be renamed, and its contents must be complete.

The additional file with the .lua extension does not need to be copied to the transmitter. It is provided only for informational purposes because the .lc file is compressed and not suitable for viewing.

Once the files are on the transmitter, you can disconnect the connection to the computer and start the transmitter normally. In the main menu, select “Additional Functions,” then choose “User Applications.” Press the button below the “+” symbol to enter the file manager, where you can select the corresponding app and confirm with “Ok.” Now, the app is installed and will appear at the bottom of the main menu. Clicking on the corresponding app in the main menu will take you to its settings.

Each of my apps has at least one telemetry window, which also needs to be installed first. To do this, go to the main menu and select “Stopwatches/Sensors,” then choose “Telemetry Display.” Press the third button below the “+” symbol, select “Lua” and the appropriate window. It can then be moved to the desired position using the arrow keys. (For calca-Plus, two windows can be displayed, while the other applications have only one each).
